While I was in the States, summer meant, hosting a lot of backyard barbecues with grilled meats and super refreshing summer drinks out of which my favorite was Pink Lemonade (of course after the beer 😛 ). The perfect balance of sweetness and tartness was so refreshing on a hot sunny afternoon.
Pink Lemonade to sooth your soul
When I moved back to India and made this Pink Lemonade for the first time for some friends and family on an occasion, it was such a hit. The rosy color attracted each and every guest so much that they couldn’t believe what they were tasting a lemonade.
This “Pink” in Pink Lemonade comes from the all natural hibiscus flowers which are ground at home. Hibiscus is packed with antioxidants which that help fight compounds called free radicals, which cause damage to your cells.

Ingredients:
Hibiscus, black salt, lemon and sugar.
Instructions:
Add 1.5-2 tbsp of the mix into a measuring cup of chilled water and stir until dissolved. Top it off with ice for best results.

Like nothing I’ve tasted before. It’s lovely. And instead of using water, I put it in soda. That’s another level of a drink! Hooked ❤️
