Description
Pickles are an everyday affair, be it for breakfasts with parathas, to add exciting flavours to your boring lunches from home in office, or to add a punch during your lazy daal chawal dinners when you don’t have the energy to cook something exciting for dinner.
I am sure, if you open your pantry, you will find at least 3-4 types of different kind of pickles. Although its a different case in our
house, we have about 10-12 types of pickles sitting in the pantry at any moment. Hing is one of our favourite ingredients to use in the kitchen. Although mango heeng pickle is one of our favourite in our home, but its available only for the summers. During the rest of the months, we put this eye twitching, salty, sour and a little spicy, Neembu-Heeng Achar. The prominent flavour is of course heeng and we only use the best quality we can get our hands-on. Also, not to forget, we grind our own heeng and the aroma doesn’t leave the kitchen for two days but who’s complaining.
If you are a pickle lover, this is an absolute must in your kitchen/dining table. Goes very well with a plain paratha and a simple
yellow daal and rice.
