Navrang Himalayan Dal

Description

Though it looks like a mixed dal, however all these colors come from the same plant / shrub / tree.

This seems be a close cousin on Moth Dal (used in chaat) or sabut moong, the taste is mix of all those things, going towards the side of Lobhia. All in all a unique product, which you will not find at your store next door.

This is is of course grown without chemicals and fertilizers, unprocessed, without any wax, polish or cleaning and comes from garhwal region of Uttarakhand .. 

We Cooked it on slow flame and result was extremely good – beautiful texture and very pure taste. I bet it’s good for health as well.

Please clean and wash thoroughly before consuming.
